【嚙指心痛】

Long ago there was a man. When he was a little boy, he had to chop wood to live. One day, he went to the mountains to chop trees. Only his mother was home. Suddenly, there was a knocking sound. Someone was knocking on the door. The boy’s mother opened the door to see a person who asked if her son was home. Nervous, the woman lead the man to her house. There was nothing to offer the guest! Just what should she do? Plus, her son wasn’t here. That time, there were no phones to contact anyone. The poor woman just waited for her son to come home. But as she waited, her son did not come. She paced back and forth..back and forth. Then she thought of an idea. Her son was a very obedient little boy, always knowing what his mother was thinking. Maybe her son would feel her feelings and come home! So then, she bit down hard on her finger.
At the mountains, the boy suddenly felt a great pain. He ran back towards his home, and when he arrived, he saw his mother worried and anxious.
“Mom, what’s the matter?” he asked.
” We have a guest at the house who is looking for you, but you weren’t here. So I bit my finger and hoped you would feel it and come home.” she replied.
If the boy wasn’t so close to his mother, this would never had happened
