7) 孔子聖賢之道- 善之是非

Translated

Confucianism -The good of right and wrong(Shan Zhi shi fei) :
We have a principle of doing things, that is to help improve poor social customs, national interests, the interests of sentient beings, to educate people, and to give us a good example。 Being good educators, school teachers, and saints, this is our goal in life ! People do good things, not paying attention to their behavior before, but focusing on the future impact of this trip, which may be good or bad. Distractions are not the important things right at the moment. Focus on affecting the face generally, and do not pay attention to anyone’s own interest.Letting the world’s people get benefit is good。

“Some of our people are poor, but if anyone is willing to sell their family members to slavery, they will get a big reward.” a man read from a proclamation on the wall.
Zi Lu and Zi Gong shook their heads.
” Poor citizens.”
The next day, Zi gong held up a sign,
” Trading calligraphy for people”
” How do you trade for your calligraphy?” a man asked.
” His calligraphy would trade for a person, so , if you want to trade…” Zi gong’s servant said.
” Hmmm… Kong Zi’s student must have great calligraphy skills. I’ll give you one servant.” the man said.
” Noo.. I’ll give him a servant too. It’s mine!” another man said.
” It’s mine!”
” No mine!”
” Stop fighting! It’s mine !” another man said.
” Who are you?!” they demanded.
” Yao Li Hung!!” his face was set in a look of smug satisfaction.
” What Yao Li Hung?! More like Yao wai Hung! It’s mine!” a man said.
” Fine. 2 people for the calligraphy!”
” 3!” said the other.
” four then.”
” FIVE!”
” SIX!”
“SEVEN!”
“EIGHT!”
“NINE!”
Then, Yao Li Hung said, ” TEN! Everyone satisfied? Hmm?”
The other two men stared in disbelief. Then one of them whispered to the other.
” 11.”
” 12!”
” 20!”
” 30!”
” 40!”
” FORTY PEOPLE?!” Yao Li Hung yelled, and fainted away.
The next day, Zi gong was sitting down and reading when he overheard his classmates.
“I’ve brought my best calligraphy here. ”
” Me too.”
” Let’s go. My home doesn’t have any rice left.”
” Same here. let’s go.”
” But I heard Zi gong turned down the money they gave him!”
” yeah, I heard too. Should we learn from him?”
” But I really don’t have any money, and we still need to eat!”
” So are we going to trade people?”
” Let’s not. I guess we have to go to the marketplace to trade our calligraphy for rice, then.”
The 3 classmates walked off.
Zi Gong shook his head sadly, and said,
” how come it ended up like this?”
Later that day, Zi Lu was walking near a cliff when he heard an old man yell,
” Help me!!”
Zi Lu looked over the cliff, jumped down, and saved the old man.
When they were back in town, the old man gave Zi Lu a whole cow, as a token of thanks.
” Wow! A whole cow! We’ve got to look for people who are drowning more often!” the villagers said.
Later that day, before class, Zi Lu and Zi Gong went to talk to their teacher.
” Zi Gong, your question is very good, I’ll see to it that I talk about it in class.” the teacher said.
A little while later, during class, Zi gong asked,
” Teacher, is making a trade and not accepting money good?”
” Zi gong not accepting, is wrong, because we all have a purpose of life.” the teacher said.
” Oh..” the classmates nodded.
” Then, teacher, would you please tell us , Zi Lu saving a drowning man,and accepting a cow, is it good?” a student asked.
” hahaha. From now on, many people are going to try to help others now. We have to learn the difference between good and bad.”
” Yes, teacher.”
